The Role:


Our team is rapidly expanding and an opportunity has arisen for an additional experienced Warehouse Operative. The successful individual will be looking for a fast paced warehouse based role within a friendly and results orientated team.


This Warehouse Operative role is part of team of two that will rotate duties within the general warehouse, including the Spray Booth. The purpose of this role is to provide assistance where required within the warehouse whilst ensuring that the Company’s jobs are completed to the required speciation and within the designated timescales.


Primary Responsibilities:


General Warehouse:

  • De-taping truss.
  • Building truss.
  • De-loom/loom cable and re-coil.
  • De-rigging stage lighting systems.
  • Preparation of flight cases.
  • Assistance with the build and disassembly of equipment.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Gathering and storing equipment for loads / reallocation back into the warehouse.



Spray Booth:

  • Preparing truss, metal work and wood work for painting.
  • Spray painting / Roller painting truss and metal work.
  • Hand painting truss, metal work and woodwork, and to stencil when required.
  • Mixing paint and cleaning tools and equipment for spraying and stenciling.
  • Operating and running the spray booth correctly and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring the spray booth is clean and protected for painting, changing spray booth filters when required.
  • Following company procedures for use of spray guns and pressure fed respiratory equipment.
  • Ensuring Respiratory Protective Equipment is maintained, inspected and tested in line with a Planned Periodic Maintenance schedule and test log is complete.


Standard Companywide Responsibilities:

  • Any other reasonable duties as required / authorised by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting line.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and use of safety equipment in line with policies and training provided.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks, when required.
  • Ensuring the warehouse and work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
  • To ensure that all flight cases are cleaned, maintained in line with company standards, labeled and stored appropriately.


Skills, Qualifications and Experience:



  • Proven experience of working within a similar role.
  • Ability to work paid overtime during busy periods, when required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Autonomy and a proactive work ethic.
  • Excellent time keeping.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work for paid overtime when required (including weekends).



  • Experience within the lighting / entertainment industry.
  • Current Driving Licence, categories including C and / or C+E.
