Perhaps a bit of a non-story for our members, but October this year will see big changes in Health and Safety legislation, as self employed individuals whose work activity poses no potential risk to the health and safety of other workers or members of the public, will be removed from the application of health and safety legislation.
After much discussion and consultation of what constitutesactivity that poses a risk, HSE has published its guidance HERE.
Before anyone gets excited, it's worth pointing out that the 'Consruction Activity' bit applies to us.
There, told you it was a non story. Carry on and be safe.
