Design, Documentation & Support Engineer

We’re looking for a talented and driven Design, Documentation & Support Engineer to join our Projects team — supporting projects from initial design and costing through to delivery, completion, and aftercare.
What you’ll do:
• Work with colleagues to develop accurate, compliant, and commercially sound designs.
• Assist with pre-sales design requirements gathering, preparing templates, forms, costing sheets, and documentation.
• Provide design and documentation support across lighting and lighting control, audio, video, data infrastructure, networking, mechanical and electrical systems, staging, rigging, tracks, and drapes.
• Read and interpret specifications, circuit diagrams, schematics, and schedules.
• Attend site visits for surveys or design meetings.
• Deliver cost-effective designs without compromising performance, reliability, quality, or compliance.
About you:
• Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
• Highly computer literate, with experience using MS Office and CRM systems.
• Commercially astute with a sound understanding of project costing and documentation.
• Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Aware of relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in developing skills across multiple technical disciplines.
• Full UK driving licence.
