Where do you work?
Keith Wood Production Solutions
I work as a production manager and as a site co-ordinator for stadium shows
What do you love about the event production industry?
I started back in 1979 while at university, putting on shows for acts like The Jam and Blondie. That passion never stopped—I've now spent over 45 years in the industry, working with an incredible list of artists including:
Genesis, Thin Lizzy, Dire Straits, Phil Collins, David Bowie, U2, Celine Dion, Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Rihanna, Adele, and BTS.
It’s been quite a journey!
How long have you been a PSA member and Tell us about your experience as a board/council member.
I’ve been a member for over 25 years, and previously served as a company Director and Treasurer. It’s a rewarding experience working alongside other council members from a broad range of sectors within the production industry. I’ve learned a lot from how others approach challenges and opportunities in their respective areas.
What are your goals for the PSA this year?
I’d like to see us expand our membership, engage more with other associations, and push forward initiatives around lobbying for policies that benefit our members.
Why is it important for you to be part of the PSA council?
It’s important to me to give something back to the industry that’s given me so much. Being part of the PSA council allows me to help shape its future and support the next generation.
What is your advice to new members?
Come and talk to us. Learn how we got started and how the industry has evolved. Most importantly—ask questions! That’s how we all learn.
