Led by Suzanne Mau-Asam and Nadine Pertsch from Doors Open - Institute for Corporate Sociology, this session is based on 20+ years of global learning and development experience.
What can you expect?
Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z... we are often told that generations think, work, and communicate fundamentally differently. But how much of that is actually true?
In this session, we will explore the realities behind generational differences and why "box thinking" can sometimes create more friction than understanding. Drawing on insights from corporate sociology, we will examine how workplace context, industry culture, and communication habits shape behaviour across age groups.
Together, we will explore practical ways to bridge differences in expectations, communication styles, and ways of working. The goal is always the same: helping teams move from assumptions and frustration to stronger collaboration, connection, and performance.
