Music Support

BY THE INDUSTRY, FOR THE INDUSTRY

"Since 2016 Music Support has been providing a number of core services to the industry, mostly provided by peers and volunteers with an industry background. We are not affiliated with any provider or treatment centre, although we have developed fantastic relationships with excellent clinicians and care providers to whom we will signpost our beneficiaries. No issue is too large or too small to be outside of our area of operation. We welcome the call of anybody working in UK music and live events who needs support."

What do they do?

Music Support offers a number of services to support the mental health and wellbeing of those working in the industry:

Support Services

Complementary counselling, a confidential helpline, external referrals & case management, signposting, and advocacy all run by in-house counsellors with lived and music industry experience.

If you work in the UK music industry and are experiencing challenges with mental health, substance use, or addiction, you are not alone.
Music Support is here for you.

Family and Friends

Support and resources for family and friends (including colleagues) of those struggling with problematic drinking, drug use or other addictions. This includes new online resources and a workshop developed by addiction experts with lived experience

Safe Hubs

This safe space is designed to address particular needs that can arise on tour and specifically in the festival environment.

The Hub is a safe space where anyone working at the festival, from artist to crew, can come to speak to a MHFA trained individual or simply take some time out from the mayhem of the festival.

Music Support Training and Workshops

Music Support also provide access to Mental Health First Aid courses and workshops on Addiction and Recovery Awareness.
