Where do you work?
Managing Director at AeroAVA & Audience & Brands
I lead two businesses: AeroAVA, delivering drone shows, and Audience & Brands, a consultancy for immersive experiences.
What do you love about the event production industry?
The constant variety. Each event brings a new challenge—pushing us to innovate and deliver something exciting for ourselves and our audiences.
How long have you been a PSA member? Tell us about your experience as a board/council member.
I’ve been a member for over 20 years and a council member since 2010. I recently became Co-Chair alongside Liz Madden. It’s a big responsibility, but one I’m proud to take on to help grow the PSA’s reach and impact.
What are your goals for the PSA this year?
To strengthen training and development opportunities, grow our membership, and amplify our voice across all sectors—from live music to broadcast and corporate events.
Why is it important for you to be part of the PSA council?
Many of us are freelancers or small businesses. It’s vital they have a voice in bigger conversations. Being on the council is a way to support the wider community, improve standards, and help shape policy and practice.
What is your advice to new members?
Use the support that’s here for you—and get involved. Ask questions, give feedback, and help shape the association you’re part of.
Industry life lessons?
- Get as much experience and training as you can.
- Never stop learning—mistakes are part of it.
- If you see the SFX tech running, try and keep up...
- Don’t eat the rider leftovers. Seriously.
