It is with great sadness that the PSA announce the passing of Dave Keighley on 9th June, 2025.
Dave was instrumental, together with other well-known industry names, in forming the PSA in the late 80’s. Over many decades Dave continued to promote, support and advocate for the Association’s work representing those who work in live event production. Up until May 2024, Dave served as Chairman of the PSA before ill health led to his retirement.
Dave spent his working life in the field of lighting, design and production. He led a number of high profile companies during his career including LSD, PRG Europe, Syncrolite LLC and SGM Lighting.
Dave was an inspiration to many, he was a visionary, a straight talker and was well-respected throughout our industry and will be missed.
The Co-Chairs and PSA Council send his wife Della, their two children and family, our sincerest condolences and are thinking of them at this sad time.
